Update 14Aug08

As many of you already know Donn
  • As many of you already know Donna Got hit by a car Last week. She was on her way to her job to get her pay check and she got clipped by a truck. She is fine now, just a couple of cuts and bruises.
  • Dad and I went out to find houses and grave sites this week. I have posted new Pics and I am working on a page that tells where all of the important things are.
  • I am working on converting dad's videos to dvd and mpg. Dad lent me the hardware and I am letting the videos run while I do other things. If you have videos that need converting, let me know and we will get it done.
  • While we were in Marion, Dad and I took a look at the Marion Park. There are three open air pavilions there that may be suitable for the family reunion. I don't know what would be involved in renting one, but I will find out.

Summer Time and the Living's Easy

So I suddenly find my self at the middle of the summer. It is my favorite part of the year even with the bugs. We have had the good fortune this year of having the field around us planted with sunflowers and they are just starting to show blooms. I think it is going to look great in a couple of weeks.

We had the 4-H Teen Exchange last week and the girls were very busy, but that ended last wednesday and now we are preparing for Christopher's Graduation Party which is here on Saturday. Eileen is in full scale party prep mode including concrete work on the patio... Don't ask.

I Need Your Pictures

Are there any known pictures of Grandpa Cambier? I have no photos at all.

I am putting things up on the web site, but before 1954 is a photo dead zone. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Email me at pete@ganze.org or post them by going to create content and choosing photo.

BTW: If you would like your own snazzy new email address @ganze.org let me know. They are free, unlimited and web [like yahoo] or pop [outlook] for all family members.

Site Development Update

I think we are pretty close on the look and feel of the site. I would like to see a more graphically representational logo, but what we have is Fine for now. Thank you Ian for the Photoshop work.

I intend to start really hammering away at content. I have been adding birthdays to our event calendar, but I think I don't know very many of them. Please let me know what I have missed.

See you soon,

Pete
